I am a student at Rudolf Steiner College aspiring to be a Waldorf teacher. I have a two and a half year old and a four month old. I have been contemplating on my work in future and school for children so in the interim want to start a group with like minded parents to share activities and ideas and have play time for our children together.

We're a group of parents who want to create a fun venue for other like minded parents in the LGBT community. This is a great community for families and will include meetups including outings at local parks, playgrounds, zoo's, kid friendly museums, etc. Suggestions are always welcomed as well!

Meet up for play dates with other parents whose parenting style is led by what their child needs not by what their family, friends and neighbors say they should do. Whether supporters of Breastfeeding, Child Led Weaning, Cloth diapering, Babywearing, or Co-sleeping all variations of Attachment Parenting are welcome here. We are a very active playgroup who meets regularly. Please be advised that we are not a web-only based group.

This group is to support parents of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) children--to provide emotional support, dispell the myths, answer questions and provide information on local resources.

As a new mom, I was shocked how few gay people were involved in the local moms and parenting groups. Hi there! I am a married mom of two boys. My eldest is 13 and has Autism. My youngest is 5 and 'typical'. As you can see there is a big age difference due to the fear of having another child with Autism. My husband and I faced the same fears as all newly diagnosed parents of Autism.
