We are starting this group so that MOPS groups and MOMs groups have something fun to do for their toddlers! We will come out to any MOPS or MOMs group function and run a FREE class for your children! I wanted to start this group in order to create an environment for women to meet and make friendships with other women who are childfree by choice. As my friends start having children, I find it becomes more and more difficult to spend time with them, as they are so busy with their families. When they are able to hang out, the topic of conversation inevitably turns to their children, which is just something that I cannot relate to. This group is for students, parents, teachers, interpreters, or any community members, looking for an opportunity to connect with other signers to help strengthen their skills in American Sign Language. We welcome any fluent signers and Deaf participants who are willing to help us improve our sign skills and have fun with us. Everyone needs to come with an open mind willing to learn.
