I am the mother of a wonderful special needs child. The day to day challenges that we face can sometimes leave us feeling isolated and misunderstood. I wanted to meet with other parents for support, information, fun and maybe an escape every now and then from the norm. Regardless of the nature of your childs special needs I encourage you to join and find that support.

I share custody of my 8 and 5 year old little Girl. Although I am a kid at heart I cannot be everything for them so I decided to start this group so they can have some other kids to interact with. I have my kids 30 percent of the time currently so it's hard finding people with the same schedule that have kids. The purpose of this group is to setup play-dates in a simple park or beach setting so the children have someone to play with and the adults can interact as well. I have seen a great deal …

Welcome! The purpose of the Club M.O.M. is for Moms, like yourself to meet other moms, make new friends, and of course so the children can play and make new friends as well! We have at least one playgroup a week for the small ones and try to have a bi-weekly playgroup for school age children (and their younger sibling). We also try to have a Moms night out once a month! Club MOM is a very laid-back group. Unlike most of the groups on meetup, we really have very few requirements: 1. We ask …

I wanted to start this group in order to create an environment for women to meet and make friendships with other women who are childfree by choice. As my friends start having children, I find it becomes more and more difficult to spend time with them, as they are so busy with their families. When they are able to hang out, the topic of conversation inevitably turns to their children, which is just something that I cannot relate to. I'm hoping this group will bring together the women in Colorado …
